PETS ARE WELCOME but must be on a leash.  Pet waste pick-up bags are located around the park; please use them and dispose of the waste in the marked containers.

SHUTTLE SERVICE will be provided at the handicapped parking area and throughout the park if needed.

A SPAGHETTI DINNER with music will be held in the Pavilion on Friday evening starting around 5:00.  Everyone is welcome and the meal purchase is by donation.  Donations will go  to the Playground Fund.

RAFFLE TICKETS will be sold throughout the park and at a booth near the souvenir stand on Saturday.  Winners will be announced at the Saturday night BBQ dinner.

The Pie Town Pie Festival is held each year on the Second Saturday in September.  This year it will be held on September 8.  Proceeds from the Pie Festival are used to fund community needs throughout the year.  Funds go towards purchasing supplies for the community center, hosting hiking and bicycle groups, maintaining the cemetery, a scholarship fund, a benevolent fund and community events.  Over the last few years we have purchased picnic tables, a concession trailer, tables and chairs for the community center, a community bulletin board and other equipment.

This year, we would like to be able to set aside a substantial amount of the proceeds to our Playground fund to replace our old playground equipment in Jackson Park.

Plan on having a great time at the pie festival this year.  The day starts with the Pi K Fun Run.    We will have music and entertainment all day in the pavilion.  We have a pie baking contest (find rules here), kids games, pie eating contests, horseshoe tournament, horned toad races and vendors.  Our Saturday night dance will feature Boss Hogg, a New Mexico band from Los Lunas.  We auction off the prize winning pies throughout the evening.

A BBQ DINNER catered by KendalBen BBQ will be held Saturday evening in the pavilion beginning at 5:00.  Tickets to the dinner will be sold at the concession stand and by volunteer staff in the park.  Adult tickets are $17.00; children 7 - 12 are $8.00 and children 6 and under are free.
